International Medical University (IMU) WSD Activities
The World Spine Day (WSD) Committee 2017 of the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia already organised two events and will be organising even more!
They have hosted Spinal Screening Events at MBO Cinemas in collaboration with Association of Chiropractic Malaysia and a Spinal Health Event at International Medical College.
The details of Spinal Screening Events at MBO Cinemas in collaboration with Association of Chiropractic Malaysia is as follows:
Date: August 5, 2017 – August 6, 2017 (Saturday to Sunday)
Location: MBO Cinemas Harbour Place, MBO Cinemas CittaMall, MBO Cinemas U8 Space, and Sparks Shopping Centre
The details of Spinal Health Event at International Medical College is as follows:
Date: August 8, 2017 (Tuesday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Location: International Medical College
They will be organising a Myanmar Refugee Outreach Programme (To Be Confirmed), a Fitness Challenge and a Power-lifting event in collaboration with the IMU Cup committee. They hope to be able to get more people from our university to know more about the World Spine Day via these events.
The details of when and where the event would be held is as follows:
Date: September 26, 2017 – September 27, 2017 (Wednesday till Friday)
Location: International Medical University
The IMU Cup is an annual sports event which is held to bring together students from various undergraduate and postgraduate courses to compete with one another in their respective sports houses and also to form bonds with one another. However, as the IMU Cup is an internal event, only IMU students and staff are allowed to participate in this event.
Besides the events mentioned above, the main event will be held as follow:
Date: September 27, 2017 – September 28, 2017 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Location: International Medical University
The main event will last for two days and consists of many fun activities such as booth games, free spinal screening and many freebies such as sponsored products and vouchers to be given away. They welcome anyone to come and take part in these activities with them.
