➡️ TB is most commonly known as a lung disease, but it can also affect the spine - a condition known as Spinal TB or Pott’s Disease. 💪🏽 TB is preventable and curable, and early diagnosis can make a big difference.

Signs to watch for may include:
🟢 Progressive spinal deformity
🔵 Persistent or worsening back pain, often when resting and worse at night
🟢 Exquisite tenderness over the affected area of the spine
🟢 Marked stiffness in the spine
🔵 Fatigue or unexplained weight loss
🟢 Fever, night sweats, malaise
🔵 Weak or numb limbs, clumsy gait
🟢 Loss of bowel/bladder control
